The Women of Westeros - Created by Leann Hill

Isn't it infuriating how far away spring 2015 is? Not only are we waiting for Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Game of thrones season 5 will be back to wow and shock and rip out our hearts.

Still, in the meantime we came across some amazing Game of Thrones fan art by the insanely talented Leann Hill. Her interpretations of the women in the Game of Thrones universe perfectly capture the feel, look and personality of each of these unique characters.

These remind you that the ladies of Westeros aren't the kind of people you want to make angry. Even Sansa Stark, who used to be trusting and naive, has a hard edge now. They could all cut you down, and artist Leann Hill has created stunning illustrations of them from Ellaria Sand to Ygritte to Daenerys Targaryen, and all on her website. I’d love to cover my wall with this Game of Thrones art.

  1. The artwork is simply beautiful.

  2. You're simply beautiful.

    1. Stop being such a creep, wtf man. We're here to look at art, go to art dating site.

    2. You must not be getting hit on enough

  3. Absolutely beautiful. I only have one minor complaint, and please, please don't flog me for it. I only point it out because it's one of the things I admire about the character of Arya herself, and the actress' portrayal of her in the show: Arya is a lefty.

I don't mean Maisie Williams is a lefty, so the art should be too. M.W. is actually a righty, but the character of Arya (in the books) is left-handed. So, M.W. has taken the time to learn all of her bits "backwards" for the sake of staying true to GRRM's characterization.

    1. As a proud lefty, I agree!
